ADHD Aha | ADHD and creativity (Kenny's story)

featured image

Kenny Friedman is a creative director with ADHD who’s driven to constantly do more and better. He calls himself an underachiever. (Stay tuned to the 18-minute mark for a mini “aha” moment on that.)

Kenny was diagnosed with ADHD twice. However, his real ADHD “aha” moment came after his second diagnosis. He discovered that ADHD was what made him creative and excel at his job. ADHD can have its ups as well as downs. Kenny’s ability to quickly get bored allows him to invent and improve his ideas. Kenny was the class clown growing up and he still holds that title. Enjoy a conversation between Kenny and Laura Key about ADHD and creativity. This episode also includes: Does ADHD and punk rock have a connection?
