http://adhdinadults.com Dr. Lenard Adler describes the story of a male in his 40's that was diagnosed and treated for Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) shortly after his child was tested and diagnosed. Identifying ADHD symptoms in children often leads to a better understanding of attention deficit disorder for parents. In this success story, the parent recognized similar symptoms in his own life, which he had previously coped with to the best of his ability. Adler recommends that parents be screened for ADHD if their child has been diagnosed.
