Anxiety does not have to be negative. Anxiety can alert us, make us more ready to take action in some cases, and help us avoid unpleasant events or failures. Sometimes anxiety can be crippling and hold us back.
Research shows that even people who feel confident and perform well under pressure, still experience anxiety. Their adrenaline pumps still pump, and they still feel the same signals. Their ability to manage their anxiety at the moment is what makes them different.
We must learn new ways to help us reorient our anxiety. Teach ourselves new tricks. It's important to remember that there is no lost cause. The brain can rewire itself. Everyone is capable of adapting to some degree. Even you. Even though we will never be perfect, there are always ways to improve.
