ADHD Medication - Strattera Day 5 | Adult ADHD treatment

featured image

3-months update: />
This is morning of day 5 of my Strattera medication. Everything is normalizing, side-effect are mostly gone… and the motivation part of the medicine is also not working as strongly, even on an increased dosage. It has had some interesting impact on my sense of taste though, which is a welcomed change.

ADHD Medication Webinar: Part 4: Ritalin Gone Wrong

featured image

In this final part of the webinar, Dr. Kenny discusses the recent New York Times editorial called: Ritalin Gone Wrong. In it, ADHD medication treatment was challenged.
This video explains how to understand the criticisms, and offers answers and research to help you to understand why ADHD medication is used, how to use it safely, and answers to the issues brought up in the article

Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) is a common condition. Genes may play a role. Stress may also contribute to the development of GAD.

Anyone can develop this disorder, even kids. Most people with the disorder report that they have been anxious for as long as they can remember. GAD occurs somewhat more often in women than in men.

💊 My Strattera (Atomoxetine) Experience 🤔

My experience using Strattera (Atomoxetine) for treating ADHD.
Classified as an ‘SNRI’ (Selective Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitor) drug, this non-stimulant medication is an alternative option to consider. As with all medications, there’s potentially good results and potentially bad side effects. Don’t let any negative aspects of this video put you off Strattera, as everyone responds differently. Only when you try it out for yourself will you know if it’s right for you. If you’re interested in giving Strattera a trial run, you should consult a psychiatrist.

Concerta and Your Child

featured image

Dr. Kevin talks about the pros and cons of putting your child on concerta. The long lasting effects of concerta may have caught your attention, however a longer attention span does not mean that your child will comprehend information any better. In some cases medication has even brought down comprehension levels in children. Alternatives are a way to improve your child’s attention without the side effects of medication and with the right structure, can be beneficial beyond the pharmaceutical limitations of Concerta.

When it comes to Meth Vs Adderall, there are some major similarities as well as differences. The first difference between Meth and Adderall being that one is prescribed(Adderall) and the other, (Meth) being an illegal substance.

Let's talk about Adderall first. Adderall is a prescribed stimulant medication to help people who have ADD and ADHD focus better. One major concern with Adderall being prescribed by a doctor is the appropriate diagnosis in the first place. Unfortunately, we have seen many cases of Adderall being falsely prescribed and can be an early onset that leads towards Crystal Meth use.

Crystal Meth has been around on the street for decades now. It is a stimulant as well that can be injected, smoked, nasally snorted, or eaten. While the effects of Crystal Meth are initially a rush of energy and focus, it quickly takes over and deteriorates your mind and body.

If you would like to get help for yourself or a loved one for Crystal Meth or Adderall, please call us at: (866)806-0741

Strattera FULL review - Adult ADHD (what happened after 4 MONTHS??)

As you will, or have noticed, I am also taking a lighter aproach to the subject. There is a lot of clinically written and described info on the internet, so I figured – hey, ADHD is a thing, it sometimes sucks, but why not have fun with the process… right? 🙂
But apart from that, you will trully find the real impacts of Strattera on the specific ADHD symptoms and a review of how effective of an ADHD treatment strattera actually is.
While not having the same punch as Aderall and other stimulant ADHD medication, it is still a potent help for anyone dealing with this mental disorder.
Hope you like the lighter take and I will see you all later this week. Take care and remember, that mental health care is important and needs attention, even for attention deficit people!

ADHD Medication - The Right Dose?

featured image

Discussion with Steven Sussman, Ph.D – Child and Adolescent Psychologist Co-Founder of the Child and Teen Success Centers in NY and NJ

https://medbusiness.net/adhd-medication-the-right-dose/

Psychiatrist Dr. Edward Fruitman, M.D., Medical Director of Trifecta Health, explains the differences between ADD/ ADHD Medications: Adderall and Ritalin.

Often Dr. Fruitman is asked" How do you know what medication to choose?" Here is some insight to the thought process behind choosing the right medication for you!

Both Ritalin and Adderall belong in the same stimulant category. Once key factor in choosing is the patient's preference and attitude toward each drug. If a patient doesn't take their medicine, it won't work!

It is also important to know the patient's previous history with each of the drugs. Typically, Dr. Fruitman says, it is best to start on a low dose in an extended release form, and Adderall may be best for motivation purposes, while Ritalin may be a better choice for over-stimulation.

Both of these drugs have proven effective in treating ADD/ADHD. The most important thing to consider while deciding a course of treatment is finding the right dosage.

Visit Trifecta Health to get an expert consultation and to start treating your symptoms today.

Pablo Chavez is forgetful and easily distracted, and he has trouble managing emotions. He’s also a playful, fun dad. He has a unique bond with his daughter, who has autism. When Pablo’s wife Britney noticed his trouble with working memory, she encouraged him to get evaluated for ADHD. Bipolar disorder is often very misunderstood. It is often believed that any condition that is unstable can be classified as bipolar disorder. Bipolar disorder can be defined as the presence of hypomania or mania. Both bipolar disorder as well as unipolar depression can be characterized by depression. If you're wondering if you have bipolar disorder, Your doctor or therapist should first ask if you have ever experienced a manic episode. Bipolar disorder is defined by mania.

This video also answers the question, "Can your bipolar diagnosis change?

Today's video will explain the difference between hypomania and mania. I'll also answer the question, "Can your diagnosis change between bipolar 1 and bipolar 2?" This video will help you understand mania, but it won't help you diagnose. To be assessed if you suspect you might have bipolar disorder you should consult a doctor.
