The American Academy of Pediatrics recently updated its guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD. Here, Tim Verduin, PhD, Clinical Director of the Institute for ADHD and Behavior Disorders at the NYU Langone Child Study Center, talks about why the guidelines recommend starting treatment with behavior therapy for younger children.
