Marijuana is the common term for cannabis that is derived from the plant Cannabis sativa. This plan has hundreds of chemicals in it called cannabinoids. The two main cannabinoids in the cannabis plant that we’ve studies are Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol or THC and cannabidiol or CBD. THC has mind altering properties and CBD does not.

The reason cannabis has an effect in the body is that cannabinoids are neurotransmitters or chemicals that affect the activities of nerves. We make our own cannabinoids called the endocannabinoid system. The two endocannabinoids are anandamide and 2-arachidonoyl glycerol.

There are many strengths that go along with our ADHD symptoms. Which strengths you have and express will depend on a lot of factors, and it's not the same for everybody, but here are my 10 favorite things about having ADHD that have been true for me, I've found in my research and I see in many other ADHDers too.

Also -- to be clear I am NOT saying ADHD is not a challenge or a legitimate disorder. I am not saying we shouldn't get treatment. I am on Vyvanse myself and a big believer in multimodal treatment so that we can overcome those challenges and enjoy our strengths.

Will this depression ever end?

featured image

In this video, author and counselor Douglas Bloch shares what the depression sufferer can do if he or she is asking the question, “Will this depression ever end?” The key is to take one’s focus off the future and ask a more empowering question: “What can I do now to help myself feel better and make it through the rest of the day?” Living one day at a time is the key to stopping worry about the future.

Part 1 /> Part 2 /> Part 3 />
Timothee appears only in memories. The film is R-rated for drug abuse, violence, and ETC scenes (can't tag more to avoid spoilers). These clips contain enough footage of Stephen as a grownup to provide a better understanding of the memory scenes.
