Most families are never provided with the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) ADHD treatment recommendations, because most health care and mental health providers do not know the recommendations.
As a result, families are referred to ineffective treatments like individual “talk therapy”/counseling for kids, despite the fact there is no evidence indicating that individual talk therapy is helpful in treating ADHD-related challenges.

So, ADHD symptoms in boys and girls can actually be different! while both can display all of the symptoms involved with ADHD its more common for each gender to show different symptoms. In this video i want to discuss those different symptoms and try to figure out why exactly they have different symptoms, and also look at why statistics show that for every 3 males diagnosed with ADHD only 1 female is diagnosed! Those are crazy numbers! Why are boys so much easier to diagnose?
