This video focuses on the transition to adulthood for teens with ADHD. Learn about the demands facing high school students as they move into the next phase of their lives, and how ADHD makes this transitional time of young adult life more challenging. Review some of the steps of normative “emerging adulthood” and how roles change for both caregivers and students. Review some steps that can be taken to help prepare for the adjustment in young adult roles and ways to increase the likelihood of these steps being taken. Speaker is J. Russell Ramsay, PhD, Co-Director, Adult ADHD Treatment and Research Program.
In this video, I talk about all of the inattentive type ADHD/ ADD symptoms that I have had my whole life. I am not a doctor or a medical professional but sharing my symptoms may help others to feel less alone and help start a conversation about ADHD and inattentive type ADHD. If you have any questions then please feel free to ask and let me know what you’d like to see more of.

Burnout versus depression- how do you tell the difference? Burnout is often viewed as a result of work stress or professional burnout. It can also feel like depression. It can be described as three things: exhaustion (cynicism), inefficacy, and cynicism.
This video explains how to distinguish between depression and burnout. It also explains how burnout occurs and how you can avoid it.
These are some video references in the video.

I’ve finally made a video about my experiences taking Adderall for my ADHD Inattentive Type.
There is a disclaimer at the beginning of the video, please watch it. I don’t condone any use of this medication recreationally!
This is what it’s like to take Adderall for my ADHD. There are some pros and cons that I think you should know about if you’re considering talking to your doctor about starting treatment for ADHD.
The way I experience this medication is WAY different than some other videos you might see. When you have ADHD like I do, you don’t get “high” off of medications like Adderall. This drug actually helps us feel like normal people, nothing more. There are some side effects though that you might want to know about before talking to your doctor about Adderall specifically.
I have never felt an addiction to this medication because I take it responsibly and don’t abuse it.

You’ve heard our guests’ stories about their ADHD symptoms…but what exactly is ADHD? A bunch of listeners have asked for an ADHD explainer. So this episode, we’re doing something different. The best explanation of ADHD we’ve ever heard comes from clinical psychologist and ADHD expert Dr. Thomas Brown. We’re posting the audio of the YouTube video he did with Understood here, along with some commentary from host Laura Key.
Dr. Brown defines ADHD, shares relatable and detailed examples of ADHD symptoms, and explains the ADHD brain. We hope you enjoy — and that it’s helpful.
