After spending time in the vacuum of space - void of Earth’s gravitational pull, pressure and atmospheric stress, astronauts must be carried around as infants when back on Earth. Over time their bones adapted to the pressure of space, allowing their body’s skeletal structure to become brittle and weak. If they were exposed to a sudden overwhelming stressor - they’d risk shattering their body, crumpling over like origami.

Instead, they must learn to gradually adapt to Earth’s gravity and pressure - becoming stronger from the stressors we live with everyday - until finally, they can walk again.

Just like astronauts, from a very young age, our bones strengthen and are able to hold up to the immense gravitational pull of the atmosphere - because we’ve been eased into that stress gradually.

As a motivator and shaper of our lives, stress can be incredibly useful.

By keeping the balance between stress and comfort in check, we accomplish things we never thought possible. Yet, it’s the balance that is the secret to success. If we get too stressed or accept stressors that are unhealthy - we snap. If we get too comfortable - we become complacent and lack self motivation. Either extremes, we halt our personal development and our path to success.

If you’re ready to move into a life filled with purpose that doesn’t dwell in the comfort zone, but is also not broken by unnecessary stress in life, I made a video to help you do it!
