My experience using Strattera (Atomoxetine) for treating ADHD. Classified as an ‘SNRI’ (Selective Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitor) drug, this non-stimulant medication is an alternative option to consider. As with all medications, there’s potentially good results and potentially bad side effects. Don’t let any negative aspects of this video put you off Strattera, as everyone responds differently. Only when you try it out for yourself will you know if it’s right for you. If you’re interested in giving Strattera a trial run, you should consult a psychiatrist.

Depression can be caused by a combination of dopamine, serotonin and norepinephrine. Any one of these transmitters is less common in the brain. Depression is a feeling that you feel sad. Depression is a state of mind that the mind cannot see any light. Dopamine is the first to be mentioned. Dopamine means that if you do this, you will receive a reward. It is a good feeling that rewards you for doing something. This is when the brain can get a short-term pleasure from something. How long can you enjoy a process if you go home today and are rejoicing about it? If you fail in your class for many years, the person will not forget that day. Norepinephrine helps me get rid of anxiety, sadness, or when I don’t want to do anything. This is when depression sufferers stop eating, taking a bath and leaving their home. This makes it difficult to do any type of activity. The pleasures of life are governed by serotonin. The sexual aspect, the need for food, sleep, and the essential functions of maintaining your body’s health. The evidence for each element was becoming more and more contradictory as the research progressed. One study found that depression is caused by a lack of any one of these elements. The second research says you don’t have enough hormones but your mood is depressing. It is difficult to determine the amount of hormones in your body. There is no way to know. We only get the patient if the patient says they are not happy. Please examine the reasons you’re not feeling happy. If you go to the doctor and tell them you have clinical depression, your brain is responsible for my mood. This trigger comes from something dark, sad, rejection, or failure. People ride this wave of clinical depression and feel helpless. But there are medications available. Dr. Edward Batch covers a group of homeopathy remedies known as the batch flower remedy. This is a collection of 38 remedies that are made from plants. They are effective in treating depression. Talk to a homeopath. This will help. There are many medications that are very effective and non-addictive.

Eating as a way to deal with grief and depression feels comforting in the moment. But, it’s not the best for our ADHD brains nor is it the best in the long run for our overall health. Hi ate my way through my grief and there was a steep consequence: increase cholesterol levels, weight gain and not recognizing myself in photos even though I didn’t really notice a difference in the mirror. That’s like reverse body dysmorphia. Or, in other words: denial. In this video A give a shout out to the people who gave me healthy comfort and I also give a shout out to the food that, although it was extremely unhealthy in its own way it got me through the rough days as well. #adhd #binge #junkfood #depression #grief #ComfortEating #Comfort #Eating #feelings #mcdonalds #KFC #dunkindonuts #Donuts #Starbucks

Serotonin is a brain chemical, also called neurotransmitter that plays a role in controlling your mood and anxiety. Low levels of this in your brain contribute to depression and anxiety. Therefore, many of the medications we use to treat depression and anxiety work by increasing the levels of serotonin in your brain.
Serotonin syndrome happens when you get an excess amount of serotonin from taking super high doses of the medication like if you were to take an overdose or when medications get combined with other medications that increase serotonin.
Serotonin syndrome symptoms can range from mild to severe and fall into three groupings and you should have symptoms in all three categories: Changes in your mental state Abnormal muscular tone Hyperactive autonomic nervous system
Here are the take aways from this video 1. If you are taking antidepressant medications be careful anytime you add another medication even something over the counter. You always want to check the drug-drug interactions. You can use the drug interaction checker on Web MD. This applies to some prescription pain medications like Tramadol and Imitrex for migraines.
2. Normal use of your antidepressant shouldn’t cause this problem, but if you have combined it with something, look out for odd signs like fever, wide open pupils, abnormal blood pressure and muscle stiffness. Those are the symptoms that are not the normal side effects. If you are experiencing these things call your doctor or go the your nearest urgent care or emergency room. To determine if you have serotonin syndrome, someone will need to examine you, monitor your vital signs and observe you. It usually goes away within 24 hours once you stop the medications.

Vyvanse is very similar to Adderall except not as strong as fast. Vyvanse is longer acting so it's less of a tweaking effect. Personally, I think Vyvanse is way better for people with ADD or ADHD than Adderall.
