7 GREAT Reasons to Procrastinate

featured image

Prone to Procrastination? It’s decided that I will do it tomorrow. Then I put it off yet again. And so on. Procrastinating can be frustrating, costly, and disheartening. Why do I keep doing it? Why do you put off doing it?

There are many reasons. There are many reasons why I procrastinate. I have learned to distinguish between the reasons I don’t take on certain tasks or decisions. This has nothing to do wit failure, laziness or lack of willpower. “

Are there good reasons to procrastinate?

I sometimes know that there are many reasons to procrastinate, fear of failure, or fear of success. If I do a great work, then everyone will expect me to do great work, or perfection. You can lose trust in yourself, end relationships and get fired if you procrastinate.

You also have to consider the long-term cost in terms of self-esteem and self-confidence. There are also the potential financial setbacks. I’m referring to the career and financial setbacks. These can be as simple as late fees or fines for not paying the required amount or you need to pay more. However, there may be valid reasons to procrastinate in certain circumstances. Let me simply say that procrastinating is a way to not do what you want, need, or desire to do. Yes.

I think you know what you are thinking. Keep reading. To determine if your procrastination is for a good, rational, logical, or unavoidable reason, you need to identify the reason. If it is logically sensible, unavoidable or logical, then you can let it slide and use that energy to beat someone. Okay, I was going to put it off, but everything is fine.

Reason #1 for Procrastinating – Waiting on something you don’t have
The first reason you procrastinate is because you are waiting on someone or something.

Reason #2 to Procrastinate: Doubts about a Person Involved
You are starting to doubt the person or people you are involved with.

Perhaps it’s a new couple and they love bomb you. It’s one thing for someone to say that after six months of being with you, but what about on their second date? If you are just standing in line at a donut shop, and the person behind you says that, you know? Except they are really good donuts (which I know I would), then that’s someone you would. I am married, but

Reason #3: Procrastinate because you need different skills or knowledge

You might need a degree or the right skills, tools and knowledge to fix the lightbulb in your oven.

Reason #4: You’re No Longer Committed

It’s exciting to ride on a SeaDoo, and you know how it feels. I’m going to start a SeaDoo business, and we’ll rent them all out! You know what happens next? The summer is over and you see an ad for charity that could help children for a decade.

Reason #5 to Procrastinate: Too Much Mental Effort
You’re exhausted because the task is too difficult.

3 Secrets to Stop Procrastinating

featured image

Why do I accomplish some of my To-Dos, but delay, avoid, dread, and procrastinate over others? I always assumed the problem was me. Turns out it wasn’t.

It was frustrating. I’d put off the urgent, important, or meaningful tasks, unable to buckle down and start, until the day ran out. Then I’d vow, ‘I’ll get to it tomorrow… First thing… Or one of the first… Or…’

I couldn’t understand why I’d avoid simple jobs and manage to do other tasks quickly and easily. Even gladly!

Then I learned some simple reasons that instantly explained why I kept putting off some tasks and easily tackled others. Turns out, they were not all tasks. They were not all simple To-Dos. They were much more than that, a sequential stream of tasks. Understanding these distinctions made a big difference for me. I suspect it will for you as well.

This video will show you the top five best prescription weight loss medication on the market. I'll also tell you which ones I use and what to expect from them.

You should consider combining these weight loss medications with other lifestyle changes, such as changing your diet, decreasing stress, exercising regularly, and balancing other hormones if you're serious about losing weight.

It's unlikely that you will be able to lose weight by jumping on one of these drugs.

These medications can be very useful if they are used properly and when combined with a healthy lifestyle.

are the top 5 most effective prescriptions for weight loss.
#1. Saxenda/Victoza
Saxenda has been FDA approved for weight loss. It is possibly the most effective drug on this list.

#2. Invokana/Farxiga
Farxiga and Invokana are not FDA approved for weight reduction, but they can be helpful. They help your body remove or eliminate sugar from your kidneys.

#3. Naltrexone
Contrave, which is FDA-approved for weight loss, contains Naltrexone. Although it's not as effective as other medications, Naltrexone has a high safety rating.

7 GREAT Reasons to Procrastinate

featured image

Prone to Procrastination? I decide, “I’ll do it tomorrow.” And then put it off again. And again. I know procrastinating is disheartening, frustrating, and costly. Why do I keep doing it? What is the reason for putting things off?

Actually there are many reasons. When I distinguish why I avoid certain decisions, tasks, or goals I’ve discovered that sometimes there is a valid reason as to why I’m procrastinating. It has nothing to do with fear of failure, laziness, or lack of will-power!”

Patreon – n
Website – /

Are There Good Reasons to Procrastinate?

Sometimes, I know there are lots of bad reasons for procrastinating, fear of failure or even fear of success, so if I do a great job then everyone’s going to expect me to always do a great job, or perfectionism. There’s many reasons, but there are also severe costs, missed opportunities, lower quality work, because you’re in a rush, it can destroy trust in you, it can end relationships, it can get you fired.

Then there’s the cost long term in terms of your self-esteem, your self-confidence, I blew it again! Not to mention there’s the financial setbacks that can happen, the career and financial setbacks, I mean simple as uh late fees or fines because you left it too late, or you have to pay extra, or the sale is over. That said however, could there be in certain situations valid logical sensible reasons to procrastinate? To not do what it is you want to do, or need to do, or want and need to do, let me just say this. Yes.

Now I know what you’re thinking, you’re thinking “what??!” Stick with me. Now to figure out if you’re procrastinating for a good, or sensible, or logical, or inevitable reason, you have to distinguish what is the reason that you’re procrastinating, and if it is logical, sensible, unavoidable, then maybe you just let that task slide for now and you stop beating yourself up and instead you go use that energy to beat up someone, no, to do something that matters, like working on your model railroad. All right I was gonna put this off, but all right.

Reason #1 to Procrastinate – Waiting on Something You Don’t Have
So the first sensible, logical reason to procrastinate, is that you’re waiting on someone or something, you’re waiting on some information, some facts, detail, instructions, there’s supply chain issues.

Reason #2 to Procrastinate – Doubts About a Person Involved
You’re starting to have doubts about the person, or the people that you’re involved with, you have doubts about these people, even if they’re little HO scale people, your initial enthusiasm was there but now there’s that little bit of hesitation, you’re unsure, you’re suspicious, you’re having doubt, you’ve heard some rumors, boy they curse a lot, they’re really aggressive, things don’t add up, they’re smooth talkers.

Maybe it’s a new relationship and they’re love bombing you, it’s one thing if after six months of dating someone says I love you and I want to be with you forever, but on the second date? and if you’re just standing in line at the donut shop and you let the person behind you go ahead and they say that… you know? Well unless they’re really good donuts, because you know I would, that’s someone I would, well I am married but…

Reason #3 to Procrastinate – You Need Different Skills or Knowledge

It might be that you need a degree, or you don’t have the right skill, the right tools, the right knowledge, so maybe you have to hire someone with those skills or you want to change or replace the burned out light bulb in the oven and you’re not sure how to do that, maybe you go on YouTube but otherwise you’re thinking I’m a bad person for not fixing the light in the oven, and you’re not, you just don’t have the right tools, and you don’t know how to do it, and you should probably find out how to do it carefully because there’s a lot of electricity or gas and you know… stuff, it’s bad, it’s bad.

Reason #4 to Procrastinate – You Are No Longer Committed

You know what it’s like, you ride on a SeaDoo and this is exciting, I’m gonna start a SeaDoo company, we’ll rent them out! Then… you know, the summer ends and over the winter you see this ad for charity to help children and you realize boy all that money, like it was twenty thousand dollars, it could transform the lives of ten kids for a decade, and not add to greenhouse gases from the oil, and then you switch your priorities, and then you discover model railroading, you think well you know what those kids adversity builds character.

Reason #5 to Procrastinate – Too Much Mental Effort Needed
The task requires too much mental effort and you’re tired, you don’t have the mental energy, maybe it’s the end of the day, or for me at the end of a television season I would be tired and I take three or four days off, and then I would start working on proposals and get nowhere because I needed more than three or four days off after 120 days straight

Sometimes I realize there are many reasons to procrastinate, fear of failure, or fear of success.

These can be as simple as late fees or fines for not paying the required amount or being late. However, there may be valid reasons to procrastinate in certain circumstances. Let me simply say that procrastinating is a way to not do what you want, need, or desire to do. Yes.

Now that I understand what you are thinking, I can tell you that you are thinking “what?” Keep reading. To determine if your procrastinating is for a good, rational, logical, or unavoidable reason, you need to identify the reason. If it is logically sensible, unavoidable or logical, then you can let that task go for now.

I am married, but…

Reason #3: Procrastinate because you need different skills or knowledge

You might need a degree or the right skills, tools and knowledge to fix the oven light bulb.

ADHD was initially thought to be a childhood disorder. Many adults over 50 are being diagnosed later in life. They are often tested for ADHD after their grandchildren or children have been diagnosed with ADHD. ADHD diagnosis in those over 50 is more difficult as ADHD can be overlooked due to natural cognitive decline. The symptoms of ADHD must be recognized by healthcare professionals. Screen for ADHD!

3 Secrets to Stop Procrastinating

featured image

Why do I accomplish some of my To-Dos, but delay, avoid, dread, and procrastinate over others? My problem was always me. It turned out that it wasn’t.

It was frustrating. It was frustrating. I would put off urgent, important or meaningful tasks until the end of the day. I would then promise, “I’ll get it done tomorrow… Or one the first… Or
.”
It was hard to understand why I would avoid doing simple tasks and do other tasks fast and easily. Even gladly!

I was then able to identify simple reasons why I kept putting off certain tasks while I could easily complete others. They weren’t all the same task. These were not simple tasks. These were more than just a list of To-Dos. They were a series of tasks. These distinctions made a huge difference in my life. It will do the same for you, I’m sure.

Inattentiveness, impulsive behavior and hyperactivity are generally common for children and teenagers. This behavior can be called Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) if it is severe. These children behave differently from other children their age.

Two parts make up the symptoms of the disorder. Attention deficit and hyperactivity.
These symptoms are: Inattention, inattention, missing details, rushing, not listening when spoken to, difficulty organizing work, not finishing it, dislikes or avoids tasks that require sustained mental effort, losing thins or being forgetful.
Hyperactivity symptoms include
Fidgeting, making small movements of the hands or feet, particularly in nervousness or impatience. Feeling like an "internal driver" is always going. Talking excessively, out of tune, interrupting, or intruding on the conversations of others. These symptoms should be present in multiple settings.
ADHD patients have difficulties with attention, focus, and decision making. ADHD children can have difficulties with social interaction, be frustrated easily, and be impulsive. These children are known as "troublemakers". "
ADHD symptoms can begin as early as 6 years of age. However, the symptoms should not be diagnosed until they reach the age of 12.
These symptoms must have been present for at least six months and should not interfere with your daily activities.
ADHD can have serious consequences. It can lead to increased social interactions, increased risky behavior such as drug abuse or antisocial behaviour, loss of employment, and difficulty achieving academic and professional goals.
ADHD must be considered in the context of what is culturally and developmentally appropriate for each individual.
Adult hyperactivity can be replaced by inner restlessness in adults. Adults often learn coping skills to deal with their impairments.
ADHD's etiology is influenced by a number of factors, including both genetic and environmental.
ADHD could be due to impaired dopaminergic function or decreased dopaminergic receptors within the frontal lobes. There aren't any confirmed causes.
ADHD is a condition that affects approximately 4% to 12% school-aged children around the world.
ADHD affects 4 to 5% college-aged students and adults. ADHD is twice as common in boys than it is in girls.
There are three main types: 1. Predominantly inattentive. Predominantly hyperactive.
And 3. And 3. ADHD treatment can include: a combination of medication, counseling, lifestyle changes, and/or medication.
Psychological therapies include behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and interpersonal psychotherapy. They also include school-based interventions such as social skills training, behavioral peer intervention, and organization training.
Stimulant medication are the best form of pharmaceutical treatment.
Amphetamines are stimulants, as is methylphenidates.
Both stimulants are able to block dopamine reuptake at the postsynaptic and presynaptic cells.
ADHD treatment is largely based on stimulants. They work in 70% patients.
Side effects of stimulants can include increased blood pressure, decreased appetite, sleep quality, and the risk of dependence. ADHD patients are at greater risk for substance abuse. Studies show that treating them with stimulants can reduce their lifetime risk of using drugs.
There are two types of non-stimulant options: alpha agonists and antidepressants. Atomoxetine, which works as an inhibitor of selective norepinephrine receptor uptake, is the most well-known antidepressant. Although it has been shown to be effective in ADHD treatment trials, it is not as effective as stimulants.
