Using Trace Minerals and Plant Extracts to Treat ADHD (with James Greenblatt, M.D.)

featured image

An ever-growing body of scientific evidence confirms ADHD to be a neurologic, brain-based disorder represented by numerous biological abnormalities; in other words, what is observed as atypical behavior is merely the tip of an iceberg that extends down to an individual’s unique biochemical makeup. Certain nutritional abnormalities, which can profoundly impact cognition and behavior, are significantly correlated with ADHD. Health-care practitioners, however, often overlook nutrition, mineral levels, and individual biochemistry when assessing and treating ADHD in both children and adults.

In this hour-long webinar replay, Dr. James Greenblatt explains how to address key nutritional imbalances with an integrative treatment plan including natural, plant-derived compounds called oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPCs). To the ADHD patient, practitioner, or parent, this integrative approach is a beacon of hope, one substantiated by modern science to effectively address the root biologic causes of ADHD.

This video is intended for those who are having trouble dealing with anxiety. This video is about anxiety and will give you immediate anxiety relief.

To get anxiety relief, it is important to first understand the root cause of your anxiety. Although it may appear that anxiety is caused by your circumstances, you will still experience anxiety in all situations. However, this is not true.

Anxiety is only present when you think about the future. You feel anxious if you are thinking about the possible outcome of the future. How can you deal with anxiety? How can anxiety be relieved? It is important to realize that no matter what outcome you think would be the "best" or "bad "..., you don’t know what it will be because you don’t know the future.

This video will help you deal with anxiety.

ADHD is just as common in girls as it is in boys. So why are girls diagnosed less often? And why do signs of ADHD in girls tend to get overlooked? In this episode, hosts Amanda Morin and Bob Cunningham hear from parents who initially missed signs of ADHD in their daughters.

They also hear from a fellow Understood team member about being diagnosed with ADHD when she was 30 — and how it changed her perception of herself.
