At the age of 30, I was diagnosed with ADHD Inattentive. I discovered that the struggles I’ve had all my life were symptoms of ADHD. I didn’t know it.
I blamed many of these symptoms on my inability to focus or being lazy. There’s nothing I can change! Many of my issues were caused by something else.
I hope that you find the video helpful. You can also find comfort knowing that you are not the only one who struggles with this.

Ron Kessler, PhD of Harvard and the World Health Organization, offers a brilliant analysis growth in understanding of ADHD as we learned that ADHD kids turned into ADHD Adults. This is a MUST SEE video for ADHD Adults, because we now know that ADHD symptoms transform over time into new presentations, offering researchers and clinicians new opportunities for treating ADHD symptoms and ADHD adults new opportunities for understanding their own gifts and challenges.
At the age of 30, I was diagnosed with ADHD Inattentive. I learned that struggles I have had my entire life were actually symptoms of ADHD and I had absolutely no clue.
Many of these symptoms I attributed to me being lazy or I was just a messy slob and there’s nothing I can do about it! But in fact, there was a reason for many of the things I have had issues with.
I hope you all find this video helpful and find comfort in knowing that if you struggle with this, you are not alone!

Verse 1
All those voices
Can’t ignore them (I can’t ignore em) I have no choice left
I’m falling again (ah)
Pre-Chorus
Yeah I feel them crawling under my skin I hear them calling how it begins
They see me strong but I’m giving in I’m giving in
Chorus
My mind
Is leaving me behind
Closed eyes
Hoping they won’t find
Every very piece of me
That’s ever been inside of me I’m trying all my best to get rid Of my anxiety
(Uh) I’ve tried
Keeping it inside
(Uh) I lied
’Bout where the voices hide Every very piece of me
That’s ever been inside of me I’m trying all my best to get rid Of my anxiety
(Uh I’ve tried) Of my Anxiety Aye
Verse 2
I’ve got the feeling ’Though I can’t see ’em (They come in closer)
I just can’t reach ’em I’m falling again (Ah)
Pre-Chorus
Yeah I feel them crawling under my skin I hear them calling how it begins
They see me strong but I’m giving in I’m giving in
Chorus
(Uh) I’ve tried
Keeping it inside
(Uh) I lied
’Bout where the voices hide Every very piece of me
That’s ever been inside of me I’m trying all my best to get rid Of my anxiety
(Uh I’ve tried) Of my anxiety
Bridge
Feels like I’m under my skin
But it’s not giving in
I just can not reach the ground
When I think I am insane
It is starting a game
Like my mind’s their damn playground (Oh)
Feels like like I’m under my skin But it’s not giving in
I just can not reach the ground When I think I am insane
It is starting again
Like my mind’s their damn playground (Oh)
Chorus
Uh I’ve tried
Keeping it inside
Uh I lied
’Bout where the voices hide Every very piece of me
That’s ever been inside of me I’m trying all my best to get rid (Uh I’ve tried) Of my anxiety
Feels like I’m under my skin
But it’s not giving in
I just can not reach the ground
When I think I am insane
It is starting a game
Like my mind’s their damn playground Oh
