So, ADHD symptoms in boys and girls can actually be different! while both can display all of the symptoms involved with ADHD its more common for each gender to show different symptoms. In this video i want to discuss those different symptoms and try to figure out why exactly they have different symptoms, and also look at why statistics show that for every 3 males diagnosed with ADHD only 1 female is diagnosed! Those are crazy numbers! Why are boys so much easier to diagnose?

Three core clusters of symptoms are common in ADHD children.
The first sign of ADHD in children is attention These children cannot focus for long periods of time. They are not able to focus for longer periods of time than other children who can. They have a short attention span. They don’t pay attention to their parents’ instructions. ADHD children tend to avoid activities that require more attention.
Hyperactivity is another major sign of ADHD in children.The parents complain that their children are always active. “There is some motor in children.”
The impulsivity is the third category of ADHD symptoms in children. The tendency to fidget. They are unable to wait for the terms. They begin answering questions before the question is over.

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), a mental disorder, can lead to hyperactive and impulsive behavior. ADHD patients may have difficulty focusing on one task or staying still for extended periods of time.

Types of ADHD: ———————— The APA categorizes ADHD into three types to make diagnosis more consistent. These types are predominantly inattentive, predominantly hyperactivity-impulsive, and a combination of both.
Predominantly inattentive This type of ADHD is known for their extreme difficulties in focusing, completing tasks and following instructions.
Experts believe that children with inattentive ADHD might not be diagnosed because they aren’t disruptive to the classroom. This is more common in ADHD girls.
Predominantly hyperactive-impulsive type This type of ADHD is characterized by hyperactive and impulsive behaviors. These behaviors include interrupting others while they are talking and fidgeting.
Although inattention is less of a concern with this type of ADHD, people with predominantly hyperactive-impulsive ADHD may still find it difficult to focus on tasks.
Combined hyperactive-impulsive and inattentive type This is the most common form of ADHD. This combination type of ADHD is the most common. It includes both hyperactive and inattentive symptoms. They include inattention, impulsiveness and higher than normal levels of energy and activity.

ADHD can also be called attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. There are two main symptoms, as the name suggests. Attention deficit is the first sign. Children are unable to pay attention for a longer time. Other symptoms include hyperactivity and impulsivity.
This disorder is most common in children between 6 and 8 years old. ADHD typically affects children between 6 and 8 years old.
Let’s talk about ADHD symptoms in children. The first is inattention. They are often unable to respond to parental commands. Complete the homework
Hyperactivity is another sign of ADHD. The parent claims that their child is acting like a machine. They are always active. They don’t sit well, they are constantly running and disturbing other things.
ADHD children have trouble concentrating on their homework. They are unable to pay attention for long periods of time and perform tasks that require a lot of concentration. The ADHD children also tend to forget school supplies such as pencil notebooks and other School essentials. Parents of children with ADHD complain that their children are not listening when they talk to them. ADHD can also occur in adults, just as ADHD in children. ADHD can become chronic in adulthood if it is not treated. It is rare for ADHD to appear in adolescents.

Anxiety... it is something I am far too familiar with. My entire life, up to my 40s ended in debilitating anxiety.
I was worried about my reputation, worried about pleasing others, and worried about how I would look on the other side. I was also worried about whether I would pass a test, but I was so paralysed that I couldn't even get myself to study. It's all very well.

I think you already know this. But, in case you don’t, I’m not a therapist. Anxiety has plagued me for many decades. It has been a major concern of mine for many years. These simple techniques have helped me heal myself, and I've taught them to my children and hundreds of thousands of people in live audience. They work. However, you must use them repeatedly. What else works? Prompt treatment. If you have any medical concerns, speak to your doctor. Don't be a hero if your quality of life is being affected by anxiety, worry, or triggers. Seek out a therapist for help. We all need to face our problems and heal our minds.
