Melissa Orlov, one of the leading experts on ADHD and relationships, has been writing about this topic since 2007.. Her ADHD knowledge was first acquired while working alongside Dr. Edward Hallowell, and as an assistant with educational programs by Dr. John Ratey and Dr. Hallowell. Ms. Orlov, along with Nancie Kohlenberger, is the author two books on adult ADHD and how it affects couples. Her contributions to many others include the first book for therapists about how to counsel ADHD couples. She blogs at Psychology Today, teaches workshops for couples, coaches, and therapists, and also writes online at www.adhdmarriage.com, where she counsels thousands of couples.

Ms. Orlov has lived with the stress, confusion, and exhaustion that comes with dealing with ADHD issues in relationships. With her active counseling approach, she has helped many couples transform their relationships. Ms. Orlov lives outside Boston with her husband of over 25years.
