OVERWHELMED! 8 Techniques to Break through the Paralysis
Bonnie Mincu – Overwhelm is one of the greatest problems experienced by people with ADHD, yet one of the most overlooked. Because feelings of overwhelm are not visible to others, overwhelm is not accorded the recognition given to behavioral traits such as lateness, disorganization and procrastination. However, a great deal of the visible problems among ADHD people are a result of those individuals being paralyzed by overwhelm. This session will teach techniques for breaking out of “overwhelm,” the mental state experienced when one’s brain is flooded with thoughts and information, creating mental paralysis in many with ADHD.

Bonnie Mincu, founder of “Thrive with ADD” is a Senior Certified ADHD Coach for Attention Deficit Disorder Adults. Bonnie became an ADHD Coach following 20+ years in corporate management, coaching, training and consulting. After leaving her position with a large consulting firm in 1999, she discovered that without the fast-paced structure and deadlines she was accustomed to, she was having trouble focusing on building her business.
Super Sensitivity & Super Stress: The ADHD Empath Connection
People with ADHD can often be highly sensitive, highly intuitive and take on other people’s feelings. This can lead to chronic overwhelm, stress and anxiety issues. In this 1 Hour Webinar Tara McGillicuddy will talk about the connection between having ADHD and being an Empath. She will talk about what it means to be an Empath and what some of the signs are that you may be one. Zen and the Art of Productivity: 27 Easy Ways to Have More Time, Earn More Money and Live Happier

e

Book Reviews:

I love how simple (yet complete) this is. Alan’s clear, no BS writing style was refreshing. I’ve read A LOT of books on this topic (and it’s clear that Alan has too), and this is the quintessential “how-to” encyclopedia of productivity. From “The Setup” to “The Solutions”, I was pleased by the implementable tips. This will be a great resource for me in my job. My only regret is that it’s not a paper copy, so I could easily highlight pages to reference and share with my own clients! (But I’ll get over it!)

Zen and the Art of Productivity is a wonderful book to help calm the mind from the chaos of everyday life. Divided into 27 easy-to-digest topics – from organizing stuff to time management and many wonderful ideas in between. It’s a great resource for adults with ADHD or ADHD-like behavior. Each chapter stands alone so readers can pick and choose topics relevant to their day, to particular issues, their life.

Alan Brown writes an incisive book on how to get things done. Whether you are just looking for productivity tips or are dealing with ADHD, this book provides clear guidance on how to achieve more while getting happier. I recommend this book highly!

HONEST GUYS We create and publish high-quality Guided Meditations videos, which we aim to make freely available on YouTube. These meditations have been created since 2009..
Meditations were created with one goal in mind: to help people. Each meditation is made with genuine love and care for the people who use it. We have also needed the help that our meditations offer.
Our philosophy is to be inclusive and neutral. We don't have any religious affiliations, and we try to make meditations accessible for all. We welcome feedback and suggestions, and we actively engage with subscribers via our Facebook page.

Why Can’t we Finish? ADHD Podcast with Alan Brown and Lynne Edris

featured image

Co-Host Lynne Edris talks with ADD Crusher’s Alan Brown about the struggle to complete our to-dos and projects, which he calls the “Finish the Mission Issue.” They talk about the psychology and reasons behind this frustrating reality for adults with ADHD / ADD, and some fresh ways to get stuff done.

This podcast episode first aired on 3/29/18

An ADHD/productivity coach and host of Crusher™TV (www.CrusherTV.com), Alan is the creative force behind ADD Crusher™, the award-winning video series for ADHD teens and adults. Undiagnosed for decades, Alan’s untreated ADHD manifested in underachievement, failed relationships, substance abuse, and worse. Once diagnosed, he found it difficult to learn coping strategies from books, so he developed his own unique “brain hack” strategies while building a successful advertising career and several start-ups. He’s a featured presenter at ADHD conferences in the U.S. and Europe and host of his own weekly online TV show, Crusher™TV, where he and his guest experts help busy and overwhelmed people “unleash the power of their brains.” Get Alan’s free eBook, “5 Things You’re Doing Every Day that Make Your ADHD Worse!”
