Low-calorie foods give less energy and nourishment than high-calorie ones. There are several reasons why someone may begin eating high-calorie meals. Someone suffering from a medical illness or malnutrition should include high-calorie foods in their daily diet.
However, rather than picking such items at random, it is advisable to seek the counsel of a nutritionist. A person with a weak constitution or recuperating from an illness may also seek for high-calorie foods to re-energize themselves.
