Diagnosed with ADHD at 30 || ADHD Symptoms No One Talks About

featured image

At the age of 30, I was diagnosed with ADHD Inattentive. I discovered that the struggles I’ve had all my life were symptoms of ADHD. I didn’t know it.

I blamed many of these symptoms on my inability to focus or being lazy. There’s nothing I can change! Many of my issues were caused by something else.

I hope that you find the video helpful. You can also find comfort knowing that you are not the only one who struggles with this.

What is ADHD?
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), a neurodevelopmental disorder, is characterised by excessive energy, inattention, hyper-fixation, impulsivity, and other symptoms that are not appropriate for an individual's age.

ADHD can also cause problems with executive function and emotional regulation. The symptoms must be present for at least six months and have caused problems in at least two settings (such school, home, or recreational activities) to qualify as ADHD.

Children who have trouble paying attention can experience a decrease in school performance. It can also be associated with mental disorders or substance abuse disorders.

ADHD can cause impairments, but many people with ADHD can maintain attention (hyperfocus), for tasks that they find rewarding or interesting.

What is Neurofeedback?
Neurofeedback Therapy, also known as Neurofeedback, is a method that teaches people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), how to control their brain waves.

Bestselling author, Noah Elkrief, explains why you have social anxiety & how to completely lose your social anxiety. It's shocking

Do you want to lose your social anxiety or social anxiety disorder? If so, this video is meant to help you to completely lose your social anxiety.

/> Noah Elkrief

This is video is about how to lose your social anxiety or social anxiety disorder. The video first explains why you have social anxiety or social anxiety disorder. That is, because you have a self image that is impacted by others' opinions. When someone has a positive opinion, and you believe it, that improves your opinion of yourself, which gives you please. And when the opposite happens, you feel hurt or pain.

You have social anxiety or social anxiety disorder because you fear the impact that others' opinions will have on you. Others' opinions can worsen your opinion of yourself, prevent you from improving your opinion of yourself, or actually take away a part of your self-image. The effect of all of these is suffering.

How to deal with anxiety and get anxiety relief? How do you lose social anxiety or social anxiety disorder? By recognize that your self-image, your story of who you are, is not actually real, true, or who you are. Social anxiety or social anxiety disorder, is created by confusing the story in your head (your imagination) to be who you are. Then we fear the worsening or loss of that story, the same way that we lose the fear of our body (fear of death).

In order to lose your self-image, this video provides 7 questions/exercises to help you discover that components of your self-image aren't real or who you are.

I hope this video about how to lose social anxiety or social anxiety disorder is helpful.

I'm a meditation teacher with ADHD. I quickly learned that most styles of meditation do not work for me, and don't address the root causes of ADHD.

I similarly found that many psychological approaches to ADHD are primarily focused on symptom management, and don't address the underlying issues.

After a lot of trial and error, I eventually found a way of practicing that actually works! I have personally seen a dramatic reduction of my ADHD symptoms.

I made this video as well as a short guided meditation you can download to introduce you to a truly effective approach to treating the underlying causes of ADHD.

You can also follow me on instagram:

Yes, the elusive style of meditation practice for ADHD and ADD that actually works does indeed exist. Meditating is often prescribed for those of us suffering from ADHD / ADD, which is essentially torture if it's a concentration style practice.

But fear not, mindfulness or Vipassana style practices can offer relief for the restlessness of ADHD, especially when they are focused on developing more clarity and equanimity with the underlying restlessness.

This video explores the practices that actually work for ADHD and ADD (I keep writing both because many people do not suffer from the hyperactivity).

If you're looking for a natural treatment for ADHD, this would certainly be an integral part, along with diet and exercise. Hope you enjoy!

Diagnosed with ADHD at 30 || ADHD Symptoms No One Talks About

featured image

At the age of 30, I was diagnosed with ADHD Inattentive. I learned that struggles I have had my entire life were actually symptoms of ADHD and I had absolutely no clue.

Many of these symptoms I attributed to me being lazy or I was just a messy slob and there’s nothing I can do about it! But in fact, there was a reason for many of the things I have had issues with.

I hope you all find this video helpful and find comfort in knowing that if you struggle with this, you are not alone!

Time stamps

1: 49 What is ADHD?
2: 46 Difficulty listening to others
4: 30 Difficulty getting organized
5: 45 Forgetful of important dates
6: 34 Avoids large tasks
8: 13 Frequently loses things

Lyrics ► Anxiety

Verse 1
All those voices
Can’t ignore them (I can’t ignore em) I have no choice left
I’m falling again (ah)

Pre-Chorus
Yeah I feel them crawling under my skin I hear them calling how it begins
They see me strong but I’m giving in I’m giving in

Chorus
My mind
Is leaving me behind
Closed eyes
Hoping they won’t find
Every very piece of me
That’s ever been inside of me I’m trying all my best to get rid Of my anxiety
(Uh) I’ve tried
Keeping it inside
(Uh) I lied
’Bout where the voices hide Every very piece of me
That’s ever been inside of me I’m trying all my best to get rid Of my anxiety
(Uh I’ve tried) Of my Anxiety Aye

Verse 2
I’ve got the feeling ’Though I can’t see ’em (They come in closer)
I just can’t reach ’em I’m falling again (Ah)

Pre-Chorus
Yeah I feel them crawling under my skin I hear them calling how it begins
They see me strong but I’m giving in I’m giving in

Chorus
(Uh) I’ve tried
Keeping it inside
(Uh) I lied
’Bout where the voices hide Every very piece of me
That’s ever been inside of me I’m trying all my best to get rid Of my anxiety
(Uh I’ve tried) Of my anxiety

Bridge
Feels like I’m under my skin
But it’s not giving in
I just can not reach the ground
When I think I am insane
It is starting a game
Like my mind’s their damn playground (Oh)
Feels like like I’m under my skin But it’s not giving in
I just can not reach the ground When I think I am insane
It is starting again
Like my mind’s their damn playground (Oh)

Chorus
Uh I’ve tried
Keeping it inside
Uh I lied
’Bout where the voices hide Every very piece of me
That’s ever been inside of me I’m trying all my best to get rid (Uh I’ve tried) Of my anxiety
Feels like I’m under my skin
But it’s not giving in
I just can not reach the ground
When I think I am insane
It is starting a game
Like my mind’s their damn playground Oh

blackbear - anxiety (ft. FRND) Lyrics

[Intro: blackbear]
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah

[Verse 1: blackbear]
Every time you cross my mind, you get right under my skin
Am I crazy out my mind the situation I'm in
And it gets harder just to breathe, feel like the walls are closing in
But all I need is some closure

[Pre-Chorus: blackbear]
Yeah, I can't eat, I can't sleep, I get anxiety
When you're not here with me, I get anxiety
I can't eat, I can't sleep, don't know why you can't see
You give me, you give me, give me

[Chorus: blackbear]
Anxiet xiet-xiet xiet-xiet xiet xiety
Xiet-xiet-xiet-xiet
Give me anxiety
Anxiet xiet-xiet xiet-xiet xiet xiety-ty
Xiet-xiet-xiet-xiet
Anxiety

[Verse 2: FRND]
Every time I smile what I'm doing fine, does it show?
'Cause' I'm really freaking out, too scared of letting you go
Then my heart drowns out my thoughts, my head's about to explode
What I need is some closure

[Pre-Chorus: blackbear]
I can't eat, I can't sleep, I get anxiety
When you're not here with me, I get anxiety
I can't eat, I can't sleep, don't know why you can't see
You give me, you give me, give me

[Chorus: Blackbear]
Anxiet xiet-xiet xiet-xiet xiet xiety
Xiet-xiet-xiet-xiet
Give me anxiety
Anxiet xiet-xiet xiet-xiet xiet xiety-ty
Xiet-xiet-xiet-xiet xiet-xiety
Anxiety

[Bridge: FRND]
It feels way inside of me
Every time I smile what I'm doing fine, does it show?
'Cause' I'm really freaking out, too scared of letting you go

[Pre-Chorus: blackbear]
I can't eat, I can't sleep, I get anxiety
When you're not here with me, I get anxiety
I can't eat, I can't sleep, don't know why you can't see
You give me, you give me, give me anxiety

[Outro: blackbear]
