This is why it’s important to consult a physician to find the most appropriate treatment for your condition. A psychiatrist can recommend antidepressants and psychotherapy if the symptoms are persistent or severe. While doctors cannot give specific prescriptions for depression, they can make an informed decision based on the patient’s symptoms and history.

How To Support Somone With Depression
