Kevin Lam’s parents never told him he was diagnosed with ADHD as a child. They might not have told him if it wasn’t for Kevin’s observation at a family gathering.
Kevin is still learning about ADHD and the symptoms he experiences: hyperactivity, fidgeting and difficulty focusing. He also has some “aha” moments during the interview. Is ADHD really a problem for him? He also discusses the stigma surrounding ADHD in Mexico and how that contributed to his diagnosis being kept secret.
