Pablo Chavez is forgetful and easily distracted, and he has trouble managing emotions. He is also a fun, playful dad. His daughter, who is autistic, shares a special bond with him. Britney, Pablo’s wife, noticed that he had trouble working with his memory and encouraged him to have an ADHD evaluation. Pablo thinks about how ADHD can make him feel like a burden at home. He also reflects on how his positive attitude can bring joy to those around him.
Pablo wrote to us and we learned all about his story! We love to hear from our listeners. Email us at ADHDAha@understood.org.
