What? What is a Cough Medicine for Depression?

Serotonin antidepressants, step aside there’s a new kid in town. FDA approved a new antidepressant containing the active ingredient in over-the counter cough medicine. The new antidepressant will be available in the near future and is expected to work faster than current antidepressants. This may be something you should ask your doctor if you are suffering from depression.

Two types of Stimulants
Methylphenidate (Concerta, Ritalin, Metadate, Methylin, Focalin) type Stimulant

Strattera (Atomoxetine) - A NRI - it affects the norepinephrine and dopamine levels between the brain synapses
