Alonna Nicole Williams calls herself an “Energizer Bunny” with ADHD. Since she was a small girl, she has bounced off walls all her life. This includes the modern workplace. She has found that flexible scheduling and accommodations for ADHD have allowed her to create a work environment that suits her needs. It has not been easy.
Alonna talks about her struggles at work, and how she feels anxious about in-person office rules. Alonna explains how working remotely as a cyberfraud insurance agent fits her brain. She also shares her thoughts about how to survive Zoom calls as a person with ADHD, as well as the changes in mental health views within the Black community.
