Those of us with ADHD spend too much energy feeling guilty about our impossibly long to-do lists. The majority of to-do lists grow in length, making it difficult for us to be accountable for our time and feel guilty about how long they are. It is a good idea to create a new list every day, a “to-do” list. List whatever you did that day. Did you feed the cat? It should be added to the list. Do you need groceries? It should be added to the list. That list, at the end of each day, is our receipt of our time and proof of our accomplishments.

I wasn't sure if I was going to share this because it's very raw and personal, but I decided it's important to. If you resonate, comment. Share. Let's share our ADHD stories with others and make mental health professionals aware of what we're going through. Let's do something about it.
