Do you celebrate all of life’s moments, good or bad, with food? Eric and Luz Jaramillo discuss how to break the cycle and live a healthy life.

Luz, the brain body coach’s owner, holds a master’s degree in social work, is a certified coach in life, certified in Neuro-Linguistic programming and certified in brain health coaching. Luz is a motivational speaker and best-selling author. She also has ADHD, dyslexia and learning difficulties. She has suffered from an eating disorder most of her life, but after studies and research, she could heal and lose over 50lbs, improving her focus and health.

Luz and Eric talk about how to change your thoughts and patterns and how healthy eating can help you switch your emotions. Eric shares with us that ADHD brains don’t process carbs well so it’s best to limit them and replace them with protein.

Consistency is key! Luz says that food is not your friend, but fuel. You should eat to live, not live to eat. Eric and Luz share ways to get healthy snacks ready and portioned so that you can grab a bag quickly and easily. It’s okay to slip and get up again tomorrow.

Luz knows a lot about ADHD and eating disorders because she has been there. This episode is for you if any of these resonate with you. Hear what she has to share. It could be the difference in life and death.
