My response after reading the recent #NYTimes article about the young man that killed himself after becoming addicted to ADHD medication. The treatment of #ADHD can be very beneficial and safe. When prescribing medication, doctors need to be more careful and thoughtful. Many times, no testing is performed and doctors rely on the symptoms that patients give them. This can lead to false positives. What can we do about abuse prevention? This video will discuss my views and what doctors and family members can do to prevent abuse from occurring again.
